Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex Stadium in Rabat

In Rabat, four stadiums will host the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Morocco 2025. But all eyes are turning towards the Prince Moulay Abdellah complex stadium, which has been entirely rebuilt to meet international standards. Ultra-modern, it is distinguished by a facade inspired by the palm trees of Rabat and geometric motifs derived from Moroccan craftsmanship.

Inaugurated in 1983, the stadium has since hosted numerous major events, notably the first Morocco – Nigeria match during the qualifications for the 1984 AFCON, as well as the 2022 Club World Cup. It is located 7 km from the city centre, at the heart of a sports city surrounded by the green belt. It’s completely redesigned setting of today reveals striking architecture: an airy silhouette, an enlarged forecourt, and fluid circulation. Inside, the stadium, which has a capacity of 68,700 seats, has VIP areas and high-end hospitality lounges, as well as entirely redesigned media spaces. The entire complex benefits from enhanced security measures. By 2030, plans include equipping it with a panoramic roof.
