The Grand Stadium of Agadir

Located between the sea and the mountains, the Grand Stadium of Agadir, also called Adrar Stadium (“mountain” in Amazigh), combines excitement and technical excellence. Inaugurated in 2013, it underwent a first phase of renovation work in 2024-2025 in order to meet the standards of CAF and FIFA. These improvements include replacing the turf, renovating the changing rooms, and increasing parking capacity.

Located 15 minutes from the city center and 30 minutes from the airport, its prestige grew as host of 4 matches during the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup. Spanning an area of 32 hectares, it regularly hosts matches for local clubs Hassania d’Agadir and Olympique Dcheira, as well as several international matches. Today, it has 43,500 seats. A second phase of renovation plans to increase its capacity to 46,000 seats and install a 360° panoramic roof, in preparation for the 2030 World Cup.
