Enactus Morocco 2026: A Generation Bold Enough to Build the Future

They are not content with imagining the world of tomorrow; they are already helping to build it. Through entrepreneurship, thousands of young people are developing practical solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges. The teams that will represent Morocco at the Enactus World Cup, taking place in São Paulo, Brazil, from 16th to 19th November 2026, have now been selected.

Active in more than thirty countries and established in Morocco since 2003, Enactus supports a new generation of purpose-driven entrepreneurs. Mahdi Caf, Executive Director and Country Leader of Enactus Morocco, reflects on the organisation’s mission and its impact on young people across the Kingdom.

How does Enactus make a tangible difference to the lives of the young people it supports?

Enactus supports young people through a range of entrepreneurship, innovation and capacity-building programmes, developed in partnership with businesses, institutions and stakeholders across the wider ecosystem. One of the organisation’s main pillars is its academic programme. Through Enactus Hubs, established in more than 154 higher education institutions across Morocco, students develop impact-driven entrepreneurial projects while benefiting from training, mentoring and personalised support. Along the way, they learn how to work as part of a team, lead projects, solve problems and collaborate with stakeholders across the ecosystem. Beyond technical skills, the experience builds their confidence, strengthens their leadership and gives them the belief that they can play an active role in their country’s development. In this way, Enactus is helping to nurture a new generation of responsible leaders and entrepreneurs in Morocco.

How would you describe this new generation of Moroccan entrepreneurs?

At Enactus, we call them Generation Re: a generation that is not content with simply adapting to the world but is determined to rethink it, reimagine solutions and make a tangible difference to society. In Morocco, we see young people who are innovative, committed and deeply aware of the challenges facing their generation. They turn constraints into opportunities, harness technology and develop solutions that help transform communities, strengthen the economy and drive regional development.

What does the Enactus World Cup mean for the Moroccan teams?

More than a competition, the Enactus World Cup is a genuine launchpad. It gives teams the opportunity to present their projects to international experts, meet potential investors and build connections that can open up new opportunities for growth. The teams also meet young people from around the world, exchanging experiences and learning from one another.

With a strong track record on the international stage, Morocco will once again showcase the talent and innovative spirit of its young people. This year, the country will be represented in three categories: Enactus EMI in the main competition, ENCG Settat in the Early Stage category, and the startups Green Watech and Benbar in the International Acceleration Programme.

What, in your view, sets Moroccan projects apart on the international stage?

Their strength lies in their ability to combine innovation, collaboration and lasting impact. Moroccan teams develop solutions by working closely with communities, businesses, researchers, institutions and experts, ensuring that they respond to real needs on the ground. This collaborative approach enables them to build robust models that generate economic, social and environmental value. While rooted in local challenges, these initiatives address issues of global relevance, which explains both their international recognition and their appeal well beyond Morocco’s borders.

What does Royal Air Maroc’s support mean for the Enactus teams?

By becoming the official carrier of the Moroccan delegation, Royal Air Maroc is doing far more than simply flying the teams to the competition. It is supporting a generation of young people who represent the Kingdom through their ideas and capacity for innovation. For some, it will be their first flight and their first international experience; for all, it is an opportunity to meet experts, entrepreneurs and investors who can help take their projects to the next level.

In doing so, Royal Air Maroc becomes the link between an idea born in Morocco and an ambition destined to reach the world. Its support reminds these young innovators that they are not pursuing that ambition alone, an entire nation believes in their potential.

The Moroccan Innovations Representing the Kingdom

This year, Morocco will be represented at the Enactus World Cup by teams and companies showcasing the breadth and diversity of the country’s innovation ecosystem. In the main competition, Enactus EMI, from the Mohammadia School of Engineers, will represent the Kingdom with three complementary projects. ENCG Settat will compete in the Early Stage category, while two companies will join the International Acceleration Programme.

IMUN – Enactus EMI
A smart medical mat that detects the early risk of foot ulcers in people living with diabetes by analysing temperature variations beneath the feet. This non-invasive innovation improves early prevention and helps reduce diabetes-related complications.

Turathi – Enactus EMI
An inclusive tourism platform that promotes local heritage while giving travellers access to authentic experiences. It also supports the employment of people with disabilities by integrating them into the tourism value chain.

Taura – Enactus EMI
Thermoregulating textiles made from bio-based materials, designed to absorb or release heat to improve comfort and performance in environments exposed to significant temperature fluctuations.

FilahaTech – ENCG Settat
This AgriTech startup combines satellite imagery, drone technology and data analytics to help farmers optimise irrigation, conserve water resources and sustainably improve crop yields.

Green Watech, co-founded and led by Dr Salma Bouggarini
The company develops environmentally friendly solutions for wastewater treatment and reuse, particularly suited to rural communities. Its energy-efficient technology transforms wastewater into a valuable resource for irrigation.

Benbar Engineering & Consulting, led by Rida Benahmida
Specialising in digital transformation, the company develops bespoke platforms and applications that help organisations automate their processes and modernise their operations.
