Royal Country Club of Tangier, The Cradle of Golf in Morocco

Country Club of Tangier is one of the oldest courses in the Mediterranean basin. Just few minutes from the city centre, this 18-hole course unfolds across nearly 65 hectares, its rolling fairways winding through pine, eucalyptus and fir trees in a beautifully preserved natural setting.

Modernised in the late 1970s under the impetus of His late Majesty King Hassan II, and reimagined in 2000 by Swiss architect Peter Harradine, the course has preserved its soul.
