The Grand Stadium of Tangier

Inaugurated in 2011 and named Ibn Battouta Stadium, in tribute to the famous traveler from Tangier, this imposing infrastructure is located 10 minutes from the city center, and close to the airport and the train station. It has all the assets to host national and international events. It has notably hosted the 2018 Supercopa and the 2022 Club World Cup. Better yet, the “home” of the Tangier’s Ittihad Riadhi is also a sports complex, with 2 swimming pools, 17 tennis courts, a futsal area, and a multipurpose sports hall. It currently offers 72,644 seats, a 7,500-space car park, a 600 m² media center and VIP areas.
