In Marrakech, golf is far more than a sport. It is an experience woven into the city’s landscape and way of life. With twelve courses affiliated with the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation, the Red City stands out as one of the region’s leading golf destinations.

Designed by renowned international architects such as Robert Trent Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Cabell B. Robinson and Colin Montgomerie, these courses blend palm groves and century-old trees, sculpted gardens and desert landscapes, often framed by spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas. Each has its own character, rhythm and level of challenge, making Marrakech a true paradise for golf enthusiasts, often set within exceptional resorts and estates.

Royal Golf of Marrakech, a Historic Jewel of the Red City

Founded in the 1920s, the Royal Golf of Marrakech is the second-oldest golf course in Morocco and one of its most emblematic. Set within a lush oasis at the foot of the High Atlas, it quickly became a haven for distinguished and passionate golfers, including Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George and Dwight Eisenhower. Among majestic cypresses, palm trees and orange groves, and along fairways steeped in history, this course embodies timeless elegance and remains, for many, the most precious jewel among Marrakech’s golf courses
