The Mohammed V Sports Complex Stadium

Since 1955, the stadium at the Mohammed V Sports Complex has made the hearts of Casablanca football fans beat faster. Renovated between March 2024 and April 2025, it combines history, fervor and performance to safely host key football events.

The temple of Casablanca football, the Mohammed V Stadium, opened its doors on March 6, 1955, under the name Stade Marcel Cerdan. It later became the “Stade d’Honneur” (Stadium of Honor) before being named after the late King Mohammed V starting in 1981. Its legend was forged in the passionate rivalry of the Wydad Athletic Club and the Raja Club Athletic and major African matches. Today, it offers a capacity of 45,000 seats, a hybrid natural grass pitch, VIP boxes and hospitality lounges, as well as numerous media seats and several fast-food blocks, thus ensuring a fluid, safe, and easy welcome according to international standards. At the heart of the city, it remains the emblematic stage for the great competitions.
