MOROCCO AT THE VENICE BIENNALE

A historic first and a strong signal to the art world. From 9th May to 22nd November, Morocco will present its first national pavilion at the Venice Art Biennale, held at the prestigious Arsenale site.

To mark this unprecedented presence, artist Amina Agueznay and curator Meriem Berrada combine their perspectives through Assetta, a project that is at once sensitive, ambitious and deeply rooted in Morocco’s craftsmanship and narratives.

A conversation with two women who are opening a new chapter in Morocco’s artistic history.
