Tangier: A Luminous Escape Between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean

Head to Perdicaris Park, a vast forest overlooking the Atlantic on the road to Cape Spartel. Much loved by Tangier’s residents, the site combines pine and eucalyptus trees, dramatic cliffs, shaded paths and historic remains.
Just a few minutes away, Cape Spartel offers a spectacular panorama where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean seem to meet. Light, sea breezes and rugged cliffs create an atmosphere that feels almost cinematic.
Continue to the legendary Caves of Hercules, famed for their natural opening said to resemble the map of Africa. Between ancient legends and striking mineral landscapes, the site retains a unique aura.
Lunch Facing the Atlantic
Two distinct experiences await. For an elegant and timeless interlude, settle into the restaurant at Hotel Le Mirage, overlooking the ocean. Alternatively, opt for a more relaxed lunch on the beaches of Achakkar or Sidi Kacem, with their long stretches of unspoilt coastline.

For this final evening, Tangier invites you to slow down. Begin with a stroll through the medina before settling onto a terrace overlooking the bay. Anna & Paolo has become a favourite gathering place for Tangier’s creative community, thanks to its elegant Italian cuisine, while Maison Blanche charms with its refined atmosphere by the sea and Mediterranean-inspired menu.
A favourite with families, RR Ice has become a summer institution along the corniche. For a more intimate dinner, the terrace of Dar Nour guesthouse, full of charm and authenticity, offers exceptional views over Tangier Bay and the rooftops of the medina.

Asilah immediately captivates with its immaculate ramparts, colourful murals, art galleries and alleyways opening onto the Atlantic. A luminous and creative town where art and the ocean meet at every turn.
